A number of people get married in Barnhill St Margaret's because they are members of the church or live in the parish. Should you wish to be married in St Margaret's then please contact the minister/church office to check the availability of the date. We will then arrange to send you our 'Marriage Booklet'.
A baptism is always a joyful occasion, for the parents of the child, for their guests and for us - the church. The practice of the Church and the teaching of the Bible is that baptism is for believers and their children, and this is still the case. Baptism is normally administered during our Sunday Service in front of the whole congregation. In infant baptism, the parent/s confess their faith and promise to bring their child up in the life and worship of the church.
Every 2 years we have a special service and invite children who have recently been baptised to come and join us with their families.
We celebrate Holy Communion on the last Sundays of February, June and October at 10.30 am. Communion is also held on Christmas Day and Easter Sunday. Should anyone be unable to attend these services eg due to ill-health then it can be arranged with the minister to have 'Home Communion'.
